Executive Director Announcement

The Board of Directors of the Huron-Perth Children’s Aid Society (HPCAS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kristian Wilson to the position of Executive Director.

The Board, after receiving notification from current Executive Director, Shaun Jolliffe of his intention to retire, struck a committee and completed an extensive search process. The Board has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Wilson, who will assume his new duties as of June 27, 2022.

Mr. Wilson has been in involved in Child Welfare in various roles for the past 20 years. Presently he serves as Director of Service with the Children’s Aid Society of London and Middlesex.

Mr. Wilson’s vision and values for child welfare align well with the agency’s newly developed strategic plan, which emphasizes equity, empowerment and engagement with our service users, staff, and the community. Kristian has played a key role in the development of several community initiatives in his present role, and we look forward to his continuation of the importance of involving the community as we collectively care for our children and youth.

“As we engage with the Ministry of Community and Social Services on Child Welfare Re-design, I am confident that the Board’s decision to appoint Kristian as Executive Director of HPCAS will ensure the consistency and stability required to continue to lead, plan and provide the best service possible for our children and families,” said Debbie Kindler, President of the HPCAS Board of Directors.

The Board thanks Shaun Jolliffe for his unwavering guidance and commitment to the agency since 2014 and wishes him well in his retirement. Shaun leaves behind an agency that is in a strong position for the future.
