Volunteer Week 2023: Celebrating Thousands of Ontarians Supporting Children, Youth, and Families

Volunteers play a critical role in supporting children, youth, and families receiving child welfare services in Ontario.

Each year, thousands of individuals offer their time, skills, and energy to support the well-being of children, youth, and families across the province. Together, they contribute hundreds of thousands of hours in roles such as drivers, mentors, tutors, special event organizers, and board members.

Volunteers often get to know the children and youth they work with and form an integral part of the service team working to ensure their success. This National Volunteer Week, HPCAS recognizes and celebrates the volunteers that care for the children, youth, and families in our communities. We are grateful for all that they do.
