We're continuing our #EmployeeSpotlight series with our talented team member, and Legal Counsel, Arakua, who has been with Huron-Perth CAS for 3 years!
We are excited to share staff highlight posts on social media, where we feature some of the amazing people who work at HPCAS and …share their stories. We think they are awesome and want you to see that too. Let's get to know them better!
Q: Why do you do this job?
A: "I hope that I can bring some compassion and empathy into the legal process for the families we work with. Before coming to the Society, I worked with parents for several years who needed help navigating the child protection legal system, which can be particularly daunting when a family is going through crisis. I try to bring the same compassion to the files I work on for the Society and hope to make the process a bit easier for all the parties involved."
Q: What is your favourite pastime?
A: "Doing puzzles to 90s/2000s music!"
