Without exception, the Huron Perth Children’s Aid Society supports the 2SLGBTQ+ communities in Huron County and our Province.
Pride flags are a powerful symbol promoting inclusivity and safety, especially for our communities most vulnerable children, youth, and families.
…Everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, deserves to be treated as a human being, with respect and dignity. We cannot continue to miss opportunities to show inclusivity and support for the human beings around us.

The Ignite students had the opportunity to craft their own wooden robots using tools. With the help of Volunteer Mentors, each student received a woodworking kit and was guided in hammering, screwing, and gluing their unique creations.

On March 25, 2014, Children and Youth in Care Day was proclaimed by the government of Ontario to raise awareness about children and youth in the care of the province.
This important day was created because of the tireless efforts of young people in and from care and the stories and …experiences they shared through the My Real Life Book report.
On Children and Youth in Care Day we want them to know that they are not alone, they belong, that they have the support of their community. They will not be forgotten.

Out of the Ashes Large Animal Rescue welcomed the Ignite students for a personal farm sanctuary tour! The kids were thrilled to meet many of the rescued animals.
They were inspired by their stories and have chosen to take their own initiative to host a “craft sale” to raise funds for …the animal sanctuary.
One Ignite student exclaimed “More kids need to meet farm animals, they are just as special as a dog or cat!”
It was a heartwarming experience for all, we thank Out of the Ashes Large Animal Rescue for the warm welcome.
