We’re thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership that will change how we support our most vulnerable children and youth!

Fuelled by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) Innovation Grant, the agency is partnering with Anchor Rehabilitation Support Services to develop and launch the PATHways program in our region, centred in our mission to support and strengthen families.

When children and youth have trauma or complex behavioural challenges, usual approaches to care often aren’t enough. Discouraged families aren’t sure where to turn, children and youth are at risk of coming into care of the child welfare system and it’s harder for them to thrive. This partnership works to solve that – marrying our child welfare knowledge with Anchor’s behavioural and mental health expertise, better equipping us all to drive real solutions and change for children and youth in our community.

This partnership helps us do exactly what we’ve aimed to all along: give families the real support they need to stay together safely at home. And when they can’t be home, support them with family or kin.
