March is recognized as National Social Work Month, and March 3 to 9, 2025, is Social Work Week in Ontario.
The theme “Wherever You Are, So Are We” beautifully captures the essence of their work, highlighting their availability, versatility, and commitment to providing care in various settings. Social workers indeed play a crucial role in ensuring that individuals and families have access to the support they need, whether in schools, hospitals, homes, libraries, or community centers.
At HPCAS, the commitment of social workers and child protection workers to providing expert guidance, advocacy, and compassionate care for children, youth, and families is commendable. Their efforts truly make a difference in the lives of those they serve.
Here are some ways you can get involved and show your support:
- Share your story: Social workers and child protection workers are invited to share personal experiences that highlight the impact of their work.
- Join the conversation: Use the hashtag #SoAreWe on social media to recognize the important contributions of social workers and child protection workers.
- Stay connected: Follow the Agency’s social media pages for updates and recognition posts.
Let’s take this week to honor and recognize the dedication, compassion, and resilience of these everyday heroes who uplift others with empathy and expertise. To all the social workers and child protection workers at our Agency and beyond, thank you for your tireless efforts and for being the voice of change!
